Man arrested with firearm

NOAKHALI: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested a youth with a foreign made revolver and three bullets from Charkaunia village in Sadar upazila of the district yesterday noon, reports BSS.

RAB identified the arrestee as Faysal Prokash Belayet, 34, son of Abul Mokaram of the same area.

On a tip-off, a team of the elite anti-crime force conducted the raid at the village and arrested him with the arm and bullets from his house, a RAB official said.

A case was filed with Sudharam Model Police Station in this connection.
