133 families get electricity connections

CHANDPUR: A total of 133 families of Balithuba village under Faridganj upazila of the district were brought under rural electrification network by Chandpur Palli Bidyut Samity (CPBS-2).

Dr Shamsul Haque Bhuiyan MP inaugurated the electrification programme at a simple function held at the village.

CPBS brought an area of three kilometres under rural electrification network spending about Taka 50 lakh.

President of the upazila Awami League Abul Khaer Patwari, upazila parishad chairman Abu Sahed Sarker, Vice-chairman Wahidur Rahman and Balithuba UP chairman HM Harun were present at the function, among others.
