6 cops closed in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI: Six policemen of the Detective Branch (DB) of police of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) have been closed to the district police line on charges of negligence in duty in different times, reports UNB. The closed policemen are Sub-inspectors Rezaul and Monir, constables Shah Alam, Mamun and Faruk of RMP DB police and sub-inspector Harunur Rashid of Shah Makhdum Police Station of the city. The action was taken against the policemen on Saturday night for their negligence in duty in different times, said RMP police commissioner M Shamsuddin.
