Prices of vegetables and some other essential commodities have gone up in different city markets after Eid-ul-Fitr because of inadequate supplies. The heavy rains that have lashed many parts of the country also contributed to the price spiral. Retailers blamed the soaring prices of vegetables on the shortage in supply.
