NCC councilor surrenders in arms case

A councilor of Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) also nephew of seven murder case prime accused Nur Hossain surrendered before the District and Session Judges’ Court in an arms case on Monday. Shahjalal Badal, ward no-3 councilor as well as convener of Shiddhirganj thana unit Chhatra League, who went into hiding after seven murder incident surrendered before the court. The court rejecting bail plea ordered to send him to jail. He was wanted in a Shiddhirganj police station case under the Narcotics and Arms Act since 2014, court sources claimed. It is mentionable that Narayanganj City Corporation ward no-2 councilor Nazrul Islam was killed with six others. Councilor of ward no-4 Nur Hossain is prime accused in the seven murder case and councilor of ward no-3 Shahajalal Badal landed in the jail in an arms and narcotics case.
