Outgoing Turkey envoy meets Khaleda

Outgoing Turkey Ambassador in Dhaka Huseyin Muftuoglu met BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia yesterday night, reports UNB The hour-long meeting that began around 7:10pm was held at Khaleda’s Gulshan political office, her media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan told UNB. BNP chairperson’s adviser Sabihuddin Ahmed was present at the meeting. However, there was no briefing from either side about the meeting. Meeting sources said various issues relating to the mutual interests of the two nations and Bangladesh’s latest political situation came up for discussions. Huseyin Muftuoglu has been serving as Turkey Ambassador in Dhaka since 2013.
