At least ten people were injured yesterday in a clash between two groups of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) of Sylhet Government College over supremacy on the campus. Quoting locals, police said Jakaria and Saymon, two BCL leaders of Sylhet Government College want supremacy on campus for long. A clash ensued as the two groups entered the college campus for their supremacy. At one stage, supporters of the both groups equipped with weapons attacked each other, leaving 10 people injured. On information, police rushed in and brought the situation under control. The injured person was sent to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital for treatment. The law enforcers could not arrest anyone in connection with the clash. Monirul Islam, sub inspector of Shaporan police confirmed the incident.
