A sleepless night for coach Hathurusingha!

A tweet of Bangladesh head coach Chandika Hathurusingha on social media platform Twitter generated much curiosity ahead of the first Test against Australia.

The tweet was posted at the early hour of Saturday (on 4.29Am) ]which indicated that he didn’t have much sleep on that night.

He tweeted: “Rock n hard place!! Give in to emotion of a nation or go with b combo...! #sleeplessnights”

It is believed that the twitter is linked with the team combination issue as Mominul Haque who was included into the team replacing injured Mosaddek Hossain after being dropped from the side. Mominul’s inclusion made the decision on final XI for the first Test tougher one as Imrul Kayes who is considered as No.3 batsman appeared to be displeased at this position. Most of the time in his career, Kayes is opening the innings with Tamim Iqbal.

There was also public opinion and even from the team management there is some pressure to play Mominul at this position. It is believed, Hathurusingha’s tweet is related with the issue.
