Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Sayeed Khokon yesterday said a hotline will be launched for managing the waste of the sacrificial animals in the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha, reports BSS.
'Citizens will be able to inform and lodge complaints to DSCC through the hotline number if the waste is not cleared within the stipulated time.
Cleaning staffs will be deployed to clean the waste right after receiving the complaint on the number," the mayor said while addressing a discussion marking the National Mourning Day at Mayor Sadek Hossain Khoka Auditorium in the capital.
