Ctg’s Kazir Dewri Mor renamed

From now on, Kazir Dewri Mor in Chittagong city will be known as Dr Zakeria Chowdhury Chattar, reports UNB.

Chittagong City Corporation at a meeting on Sunday renamed the intersection near Chittagong Outer Stadium and Circuit House, said a press of Dr Zakeria Chowdhury Smrity Parishad on Thursday.

The decision to rechristen the road was taken to honour Dr Zakeria Chowdhury, a close aide of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, a Liberation War organiser, a politician and a social worker.
