BNP trying to impress CJ: Qamrul

Food Minister Qamrul Islam has said BNP is “trying to impress” Chief Justice SK Sinha centering the 16th amendment verdict by “applauding him and trying to make a friendship with him,” reports UNB The minister said yesterday while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion held at the Kabi Jasimuddin Hall premises of Dhaka University (DU). The hall’s Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) unit organised the discussion marking the 42nd martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Mourning Day.
