Prisoner flees from custody

A man accused in a drug related case escaped from the custody at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) early yesterday, reports BSS.

Hazrat Ali’s son, Md Sujon, 23, an accused in a drug case, of Keraniganj Model Police Station fled from the custody early yesterday morning, Sub Inspector Bacchu Mia, in-charge, of DMCH police camp told BSS yesterday noon. The accused was sent to the Burn and Plastic Surgery Unit of the DMCH with critical injuries on Tuesday noon and was undergoing treatment at the third floor. of the six-storey building, he said.
