Couple found dead in C’nawabganj

Police recovered the bodies of a couple from a house at Madhapara village in Nachole upazila yesterday morning.

On information, police recovered the bodies of Moidul Islam Badal, 42, and his wife Nasima Begum, 35, from their house, said additional superintendent of police Waresh Ali Miah.

Nasima was found dead on the floor of her room while Moidul was found hanging with a tree near the house, he said.

Police suspected that Moidul might have committed suicide after he strangulated his wife to death over conjugal dispute, said the additional ASP, adding, the bodies were sent to Chapainawabganj Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
