The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has approved three chargesheets for submission against two sub-registrars and three others in three graft cases, reports UNB.
The Commission at its regular meeting on Monday approved three proposals for submitting the chargesheets against them, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told UNB.
Pranab said two chargesheets will be submitted before the court soon against sub-registrar Minti Das of Barura Upazila (Comilla) and sub-registrar Paritosh Kumar Das of Badda Circle (Tejgaon). On September 21, 2016, the ACC filed two cases against Minti Das and Paritosh Kumar with Shahbagh Police Station for allegedly getting public jobs showing fake certificates and causing a loss to the national exchequer by withdrawing public money as salaries and benefits.
