Death anniv of Bir Shreshtha Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman observed
Bangladesh Air Force observed the 46th death anniversary of Shaheed Bir Shreshtha Flight Lieutenant M Matiur Rahman yesterday with due solemnity, says a press release.
On this occasion, milad mahfil was arranged at the mosques of all BAF Bases and units. Special munajat was also offered seeking divine blessings of the departed soul of the deceased and for the continued peace and prosperity of the country. In the milad mahfil, officers and members of all ranks of the BAF were present.
Earlier, in the morning, Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Admin) Air Vice Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, BBP, OSP, ndu, psc and Air Officer Commanding of Bangladesh Air Force Base Bangabandhu Air Commodore M Mafidur Rahman, BUP, ndu, afwc, psc offered munajat for the salvation of the departed soul of Shaheed Flight Lieutenant M Matiur Rahman at the Martyred Intellectuals Graveyard at Mirpur.
Among others Milee Rahman, wife of Birsreshto Flight Lieutenant M Matiur Rahman, senior officers and airmen of Air Headquarters and BAF Bases in Dhaka area were present.
