A fire that broke out at Anam Rangs Plaza in the city's Dhanmondi area on Sunday afternoon was brought under control after around two hours, reports UNB.
The fire originated on the 4th floor of the six-storey shopping mall around 4 pm, said sources at Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters.
On information, 17 units of firefighters rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control after two hours frantic efforts at 6:40 pm.
