Imran Sarkar attacked again

Ganajagaran Manch spokesperson Imran H Sarkar was attacked again by miscreants at Shahbagh in the capital last night, reports UNB.

Imran alleged that a group of youths, numbering 10-15, suddenly swooped on him and some of the Manch activists around 4pm when they were walking along the footpath in front of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University.

They were going to Shahbagh intersection to protest Thursday's attack on them, he said. Imran said the miscreants were carrying sticks in their hands and they also pelted brickbats at them.

On Thursday, five activists of Ganajagaran Manch, including Imran H Sarkar, were injured in an attack allegedly by Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) men at Shahbagh intersection in the city.
