Cocktail blasts rock RU campus Shibir men blamed

Two cocktails were exploded near Habibiur Rahman Hall of Rajshahi University on Thursday night, creating panic among students, reports UNB.

Though it was not clear who were behind the blasts that occurred at 8:00pm, Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) claimed that Chhatra Shibir men exploded the cocktails. After the blasts, BCL leaders and activists brought out protest processions on the campus and at different dormitories.

RU proctor Dr Lutfar Rahman said steps have been taken to avert any untoward situation on the campus.
