Omar Sani urges artistes to help flood victims

Actor Omar Sani yesterday urged all artistes, involved in film and television industries, to come forward and help the country's flood-affected people, reports UNB. He proposed setting up a fund without any delay and announced to donate Tk 1 lakh to be spent for sacrificing animals during Eid-ul-Azha, saying he will not sacrifice animal this time. The film actor made the announcement in a video message, saying Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu and Information Secretary can be involved in establishing the fund.
