Body of fisherman recovered in Bagherhat

Bagherhat: The Coast Guard members recovered the body of a fisherman, who went missing in Panguchhi river after a fishing boat capsize on Tuesday, from Srenikhali area of the river on Thursday morning, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Ayub Ali, 72, hailed from Bhasha village in Kachua upazila of the district. Farid Ahmed, contingent commander in Morelganj Coast Guard, said they recovered the floating body of Ayub Ali from the river, far from the accident area. Later, police handed over the body to his family members, said Rashedul Alam, officer-in-charge of Morelganj Police Station.
