GP brings two co-branded smartphones

Mobile phone operator Grameenphone (GP) introduced two co-branded smartphones Symphony G20 and itel it1409, reports BSS.

The operator unveiled the devices in a ceremony at the GP Corporate House following good response from the previously launched co-branded smartphones.

Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Marketing Officer of Grameenphone Yasir Azman launched the two smartphones, said a press release yesterday.

Head of Device at GP Sarder Showkat Ali, Senior Director-Business Operation of Symphony Mobile Md Maksudur Rahman and CEO of Transsion Bangladesh Rezwanul Hoque were present.

“We believe that both Symphony G20 and itel it1409 smartphones would help people to stay digitally interconnected and to avail the benefits of GP Digital Services,” said Yasir Azman.

Sarder Showkat Ali said itel it1409 contains a significant uniqueness in the form of Facebook and WhatsApp notification light. He highlighted the sophisticated features of the affordable yet high quality smartphone which is run by 1.2GHz quad-core processor and Android 6.0 OS. It packs a 4.0” WVGA display, 2 MP rear and a 0.3 MP front camera, 8GB ROM, 512MB RAM and 1500 mAh battery. The smartphone will be available in two different colors (Metallic Gold, Dark Grey) and is priced at only Tk 3,100.
