Non- gazetted employees of government, semi-government and autonomous organisations and non-commissioned officers and employees of the armed forces will get their salaries and allowances for the month of August while all the retired government employees will get their pensions for the current month on August 29, reports BSS.
Eid ul-Azha will be celebrated on September 2, subject to the appearance of the moon, an official release said yesterday.
The government has taken the decision of paying the salaries, allowances and pensions to the aforesaid employees and pensioners ahead of the Eid.
