The elections of the Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) has been postponed due to severe flood in the country which was scheduled to take place on August 27.
The concerned persons had a closed door meeting at the National Sports Council (NSC) yesterday and took the decision,
The authority do not want to disclose any information regarding this yesterday but according to reliable sources and the general secretary of the BHF, Abdus Sadeque also confirmed about the decision that the election will be postponed for indefinite period.
Meanwhile, a total of 111 nomination papers have already been sold against 28 executive posts and almost all set to hold the election.
