The government has taken special measures to carry the home-bound passengers smoothly during Eid-ul-Azha, the second largest Muslim festival, adding necessary coaches and locomotives in the Bangladesh Railway (BR) and the sale of advance tickets would be available from August 19 (Saturday), reports BSS.
“We are taking all-out preparations to ensure safe journey for the home-bound passengers during the Eid ... they will be able to purchase their advance tickets from August 19 and the return tickets will be available from August 25," Railways Minister M Mazibul Haq said here yesterday.
