U-16 women’s team visit to Vietnam cancelled

The Vietnam tour of the Bangladesh national Under-16 women football team has been cancelled when the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) is thinking an alternative.

Bangladesh team, who as scheduled to go to Vietnam on August 27 to play their last preparation matches on their way to Thailand to participate in the Asia Cup Under-16 football final round to be held from September 10 to 17.

Bangladesh, who stormed into the final round of the competition as the unbeaten champions in the qualifying round in their group in September last year.  After the qualifying round Bangladesh team have been taking preparation for the final round and also played matches in home and abroad, while they also traveled to Japan (twice), China, South Korea and Singapore.
