Shakib Al Hasan and Mehedi Hasan Miraj will arrive in Bangladesh on Tuesday as they are expected to take part in the second practice match on August 17 and 18, that the Bangladesh squad will play split into two teams.
Both of the all-rounders were given NOC till August 15 to play the Caribbean Premier League. Shakib was the part of reigning champions Jamaica Tallawahs. Though his performance was not up to the mark, Shakib still won a match by his own for the Jamaica. New Zealand’s Glenn Philips replaced Shakib in Jamaica.
Mehedi Hasan Miraj however could consider him unlucky. On his first assignment in foreign domestic T20 tournament, he didn’t get any match. The young Bangladeshi all-rounder was the part of Trinbago Knight Riders, a team owned by IPL franchise Kolkakta Knight Riders owner and Hindi film star Shahrukh Khan.
Mehedi and Shakib however will attend the practice session on Wednesday, rather they are likely to go straight into the practice match from Thursday.
