23 arrested in Meherpur

MEHERPUR: Police, in special drives from Saturday night to yesterday morning, arrested 23 people on various charges from different areas of the district, reports BSS.

Among the detainees, eight persons were arrested from Sadar upazila, five  from Mujibnagar and 10 from Gangni upazila, said Meherpur Police Super Anisur Rahman.

The arrestees would be produced before court, he also said.
