Banani Society’s election held

Showkat Ali Bhuiyan (Dilon) and ABM Abus Salam were elected President and General Secretary of the Banani Society, an organisation of the prestigious people of the capital's posh area, for two years, reports BSS.

As many as 17 posts of the 21-member society went to the credit of Dilon-Salam Parishad with Anjam Maruf as the Treasurer and M A Mottaleb as the Bloc C representative for 2017-2019 period, a press release of the society said here yesterday.

Former Election Commissioner Muhammad Sohul Hussein conducted the election held at the Bananani Model School on Saturday.
