Drug peddler arrested in Chandpur

Police arrested an alleged drug peddler along with yaba tablets and phensidyl from his residence at Toraghar in Hajiganj municipality area early yesterday. Tipped off, a team of police raided at the house of Dulal Kazi, 52, son of Mezbah Uddin Tutul and arrested him around 12:15 am, said Jabedul Islam, officer-in-charge of Hajiganj Police Station.

Police also recovered 200 pieces of Yaba tablets and two bottles of phensidyl from his possession.

Dulal was wanted in several cases, said the OC.
