Road crash kills two in Natore

NATORE: Two people were killed and two others injured when a bus hit a pickup van in Ekdala area of Sadar upazila early yesterday, reports BSS. The deceased were identified as Rajon Kumar Ghosh, 28, an egg trader and son of Nepal Kumar Gosh of Ramjibonpur under Puthia upazila in Rajshahi and Rezaul Karim, 30, son of Jamal Hossain, a resident of the same area.

In-charge of Jhalmalia Highway Police Camp SI Shariful Islam said the accident occurred in the area at about 2 am when a Dhaka-bound bus from Rajshahi hit a Puthia-bound egg-laden pickup van, leaving two pickup passengers dead on the spot and two others injured. The injured were taken to Sadar hospital.
