SAVAR: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested a top terrorist on Dhaka-Aricha highway in Radio Colony bus stand area early Tuesday, reports UNB.

The arrestee was identified as Al Amin, 40, son of Bhola Miah, and the top terrorist in Bhabanipur area under Birulia union, also accused in several cases including murder and rape. He was absconding for long.

Major Abdul Hakim, company commander of RAB-4, said that on secret information that Al Amin was going to Nabinagar by a car, a team of RAB set up check post on the highway.

Later, the elite force arrested Al Amin searching a microbus along with two pistols, two magazines, six rounds of bullets, 1,800 pieces of Yaba tablets, 11 mobile sets, and cash Tk 20,000. They also seized the microbus.
