27 arrested in Dinajpur

DINAJPUR: Police, in special drives from Wednesday night to yesterday morning, arrested 27 persons including eight drug traders and recovered 218 pieces of yaba tablets and 232 bottles of Phensidyl syrup from eight upazilas of the district, reports BSS.

District police sources said, during the drives, Dinajpur Sadar police arrested eight persons, including three drug traders, Hakimpur police arrested five drug traders, Ghoraghat police two persons, Birganj police one accused, Birampur police three, Parbartipur police two, Khansama police four and Kaharole police two accused.
