Bangladesh has called upon Saudi Arabian companies to recruit skilled workforce of different professions from Bangladesh. Ambassador to Riyadh Golam Moshi made the call while exchanging views with high officials of different Saudi companies at a hotel in Dammam province in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, according to a press release forwarded by Bangladesh embassy in Saudi Arabia yesterday.
Projecting honesty, sincerity and skills of the Bangladeshi workforce, he laid emphasis on training for the workers prior to recruitment.
The capability of the potential workers will be enhanced if they are given accurate information regarding working environment in Saudi Arabia, job descriptions, wages and other facilities prior to the recruitment, said the ambassador.
He mentioned that it will be possible to avert many problems if workers are given proper training before coming to Saudi Arabia and assured the representatives of the companies of government’s every help regarding training.
In the presence of high ups of quite a few companies, he also urged them to hire skilled workforce from Bangladesh including doctors and engineers alongside general workers.
Earlier, the chief executive officer (CEO) of a Saudi company Eastern Recruitment met with ambassador Moshi to discuss recruitment of Bangladeshi workers.
Praising the Bangladeshi workers, the CEO assured of hiring 3,000 Bangladeshis from different professions within this year.
