Manam’s son guitarist Zeheen ‘kills self’ in city

Zeheen Ahmed, son of noted musician Manam Ahmed of rock band Miles, committed suicide by hanging himself at his Dhanmondi residence in the city yesterday afternoon at the age of 26, reports UNB.

Zeheen, himself a guitarist, composer, instructor and member of rock band Mechanix, was found hanging in his apartment around 3:15 pm, said Officer-in-Charge Abdul Latif of Dhanmondi Police Station quoting family members.

Later, Zeheen was taken to Labaid Hospital where doctors declared him dead around 3:30 pm, the OC added.

However, it is still not clear what prompted the guitarist to kill himself.
