RANGAMATI: A total of 24 solar panels were distributed free of cost among 14 educational institutions and 10 poor families in Sadar upazila yesterday, reports BSS. Feroza Begum Chinu MP distributed the solar panels as the chief guest at a simple function arranged on the occasion on the upazila premises. The chief guest said government is trying to establish national grid line all over the Chittagong Hill Tracts undertaking special project. Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Rumana Rahman Shompa, vice-chairman of Sadar upazila parishad Palash Kusum Chakma and upazila relief and rehabilitation officer M Tayab were present among others.
