Accused produced before court

All arrested twenty chargesheeted accused of sensation seven murder cases were produced before a senior judicial magistrate court yesterday. The senior judicial magistrate Chadni Rupam’s court fixed the next date on September 6, court sub-inspector Golam Hossain confirmed. Thirteen chargesheeted including prime accused Nur Hossain are absconding since the abduction and killing incidents. Detective branch inspector Md Mamunur Rashid Mondol had submitted chargesheet on April 8, 2015 accusing 35 men of them 25 were RAB men including three high officials of RAB-11. Narayanganj City Corporation Councilor Nazrul Islam, three associate, his car driver and Advocate Chandan Kumar Sarker with his driver were abducted on April 27 last year in Shibu market area of Dhaka-Narayanganj link road in broad day light.
Police had recovered six bodies from the River Shitalakhya on April 30 and the rest body recovered from the same spot on May 1. Nazrul’s widow had filed a case with Fatulla police station accusing six persons’ name while Chandan’s son in law Dr Bijoy Kumar Pal filed another case with same police station against unknown criminals. Slain Nazrul’s wife, who is now councilor of NCC in the seat of her husband, moved naraji petion against chargesheet as her mentioned five accused dropped from charge.
