Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry(FBCCI) and Business Initiative Leading Development (BUILD) yesterday signed an memorandum of understanding to integrate research initiatives of both the organisations for development of private sector, says a press release.
The agreement was signed by FBCCI President Abdul Matlub Ahmad and BUILD Chairman Asif Ibrahim at the FBCCI Bhaban in the capital.
The FBCCI president urged FBCCI to think of BUILD as an extension of their own research wing, the statement said.
The MoU aims to establish a formal professional network, strengthen mutual cooperation and enable exchanges of opinions and ideas with a view to facilitate a robust public-private dialogue platform for a transparent and conducive business environment in Bangladesh.
Also, both parties agreed to intensify collaboration in research, and jointly support research based projects that will provide benefits to business community through policy simplification.
