Rabindra-Nazrul-Sukanto Jayanti at BSA today

To mark the birth anniversary of three legendary poets of Bengali literature, Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazurl Islam and Sukanta Bhattacharya, Dhaka Mohanagar Sangsad of Bangladesh Udichi Shilpigoshthi has arranged a celebration programme today. Udichis Rabindra-Nazrul-Sukanto Jayanti will be held today at 5pm at the National Music and Dance Auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in the capital.
Professor Dr Mohammad Azam from Dhaka University, Professor Dr Hosne Ara Jolly from Jagannath University and Professor Dr Himel Barkat from Jahangirnagar University will attend the programme as discussants. Besides, president of Udichi Central Sangsad Professor Dr Safiuddin Ahmed and president of Pragati Lekhok Sangha Golam Kibria Pinu will also discuss at the programme.
On the other hand, artistes of Udichi will come up with the presentation of recitation, music, dance and play during the second instalment of the programme to illustrate the colourful life of three iconic literary figures of all time.
The programme also includes the first stage show of Bhuter Bhoy written by Kazi Nazrul Islam.
