RIP APJ Abdul Kalam
Sir,
It will not be wrong in saying that there was never a person who was a renowned scientist teacher and as well as an exemplary human being who was the pioneer of Indian space rocket science. An editorial page appreciation, published by a leading local English daily on 30th. July, where the few lines from poet Robert Burns in introduction is possibly the best epitaph that could be offered to this great soul.
Throughout life, he remained an example of a 'Great Man' humble in real life a rarity in today's self centered world of ours. In my honest opinion, he deserves posthumous Noble Prize if capability, knowledge, nobility, talent, humanity and humility are characteristics for evaluation! As a man I feel that we have lost a rare human being who to sum up "was a teacher" for all of us plain ordinary people. May Allah rest his great soul in peace through eternity. We will forget him, with the passage if time but his superlative moral character will live for ever a shining example of 'Goodness' that is getting rarer day by day.
This writer's limited stock of words, fails in adequately portraying the immense greatness of the soul of such a noble man a scarce being in this self centered and limited world of ours!
