RANGPUR: A case was filed against 11 people, including two physicians of Rangpur VIP General Hospital, in the city over the death of a child due to ‘wrong treatment’ on Wednesday, reports UNB.
Mohiuddin, father of the deceased, filed the case with Kotwali Police Station at night, said police.
Anesthetist Dr Biplab and surgeon Dr Hironmoy were among the accused.
Earlier on Wednesday, Mridha, a two-year-old girl died allegedly from ‘wrong treatment’ at the hospital. The girl infected with hernia had been undergoing treatment at the hospital for the last few days. The child underwent a surgery on Wednesday and died at the hospital.
