Information Commission submits annual report to PM

The Information Commission submitted its annual report to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday, reports UNB.

A delegation of the Commission, led by Chief Information Commissioner Prof Golam Rahman, handed over the report to the Prime Minister at her office.

Briefing reporters after the handover of the report, PM's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said the delegation apprised the Prime Minister of various activities of the Commission.

Accepting the report, Hasina said her government believes in the free flow of information.

Appreciating the activities of the Commission, she suggested strengthening its activities.

PMO Secretary Suraiya Begum was present.
