Bangladesh and Singapore yesterday signed three memoranda of understanding (MoU) to facilitate information exchange, trade and investment opportunities and promote Singapore’s business interests in Dhaka, reports UNB.
The MoUs were inked during the Bangladesh-Singapore Business Forum jointly organised by the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) and Singapore Business Federation (SBF) at a city hotel.
Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) and SBF signed of the MoUs while FBCCI and SBF another one, and Bangladesh Business Chamber of Singapore (BDCham) and FBCCI the 3rd one.
Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu was the chief guest at the Forum which was also addressed by SBF Chairman SS Teo, its Vice-chairman Dr R Theyvendran, FBCCI Vice-president Md Muntakim Ashraf, BIDA Executive Chairman Kazi M Aminul Islam and BDCham President Mirza Golam Sabur.
