The newly-formed BCB-High Performance (HP) team began their preparation camp with the fitness test at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) gymnasium ahead of the three-match one-day series against Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket Team yesterday.
As a part of preparation for the upcoming ACC Under-19 Asia Cup, the series organised by the board will be held at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium (SANS) in Khulna.
With one day break, the matches will be played on July 13, 15 and 17 respectively.
The national selection panel of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) recalled the eight new players in the BCB-High Performance Unit ahead of the one-day series.
The recalled players are Abdul Majid, Robiul Islam Robi, Zakir Hasan (w), Ariful Haque, Nasum Ahmed, Rashed Hossain, Mohammad Mithun and Al Amin Hossain.
They have joined the team with Alauddin Babu, Md Mehedi Hasan, Shadman Islam, Azmir Ahmed, Imran Ali Enam, Hossain Ali, Al-Amin and Nur Alam Saddam, who were included in the core HP squad but could not tour with the team in Darwin, Australia.
Both the teams will travel to Khulna on July 11 after being done a four-day practice in Mirpur.
