Man stabbed dead in Khulna

Khulna: A man was stabbed to death allegedly by some unidentified miscreants in Amtola area of the city early Saturday, reports BSS.

The deceased was identified as Harun-or-Rashid, 35, son of late Khan Abu Hasnat.

A gang of miscreants picked Harun up from Chhanda Bazar area around 1:30 am, said Mamtazul Haque, officer-in-charge of Sonadanga Police Station.

They, later, stabbed him indiscriminately, leaving him critically injured.

After being rescued, the injured was rushed to Khulna Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around 4:30 am.

Police, meanwhile, arrested three activists of Juba League Rasel, Sheikh Selim, and Raju Hawlader, in connection with the murder.
