‘Memorial for Rangamati landslide victims’

RANGAMATI: The municipality would build a memorial for the 120 victims of landslide on June 13, said its mayor Akbar Hossain Choudhury on Wednesday, reports UNB.

The municipality is also working to re-build the houses and rehabilitate the effected people in the area, he said while talking to the reporters at Pourasova auditorium.

“We are making a database of the victims for proper distribution relief materials.” he said and urged all the government and private organisations to operate jointly to face the crisis.
