Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has been making the most of the summer break away from football, taking the opportunity to jet off with his Miss Turkey fiancee Amine Gulse, reports Daily Mail.
Ozil has headed off to warmer climates in order to unwind ahead of another busy season.
The German playmaker uploaded a snap to his official Instagram account showing himself and Gulse in high spirits, preparing to head off for a summer trip.
Ozil was reported to have got engaged to Gulse - a former Miss Turkey 2014 winner – at the tail-end of last year.
The 28-year-old is still yet to offer clarity regarding his future, with Arsenal still hopeful he will put pen to paper on a new deal at the Emirates.
Ozil is just one of hundreds of footballers heading off on a rare break before the Premier League begins to dominates lives once again.
Manchester United ace Chris Smalling has also been making the most of his time off by heading to the picturesque Seychelles islands with his newly-wedded wife Sam.
The couple have been keeping followers updated via Instagram, posting various enviable snaps and videos of the exotic location.
Smalling treated his 2million followers to a series of short videos - one of himself cycling around the idyllic La Digue island while another, posted on Monday, showed the centre-back driving around Praslin Island.
