The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has approved charge-sheets against five people, including three bank officials, in three graft cases, reports UNB.
The Commission at its regular meeting yesterday approved proposals for submitting the charge-sheets against them, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told the news agency.
The charge-sheets will be submitted before the court soon against auditor of Ukhia upazila accounts office (Cox’s Bazar) Nasir Uddin M Abu Sofian, super of Cox’s Bazar accounts office Abdus Sabur, former manager of Sonali Bank’s Cox’s Bazar branch Md Abu Taher, manager of the bank’s Patiya branch Golam Rahman (then principal officer of Cox’s Bazar branch) and principal officer Kanan Kumar Dutta.
