Teenage boy hacked to death over love affairs

COMILLA: A teenage boy was hacked to death by another one over previous enmity at Lalchandpur village in Monohorganj upazila on Tuesday night, reports UNB.

Quoting locals, police said Yusuf Kazi, 14, son of Wazed Kazi and Rahmat Ullah, 15, son of Abul Bashar, both residents of Lalchandpur village, had been at loggerheads centring a love affairs with a girl.

On Tuesday night, Yusuf and Rahmat Ullah along with Neyamat Ullah, 18, and M Sohel, 20, residents of the same village were having chats among themselves over the issue.

At one stage, Rahmat hacked Yusuf, Neyamat and Sohel with a sharp knife, leaving the trio critically injured.

Later, the injured were taken to a local hospital while Yusuf succumbed to his injuries when he was being shifted to Comilla Medical College Hospital, said officer-in-charge Shamsuzzaman of Monohorganj Police Station.
