Kaniz Subarna returns to music scene after 8 years

Popular pop singer Kaniz Subarna has returned to the country’s music scene after eight long years. She has recently lent her voice to a new song titled ‘Sara Dao Na’—featuring DJ Rahat. After releasing her last song in 2007, she got busy with her personal life. Meanwhile, she rendered a playback song for the film titled ‘Matir Thikana’, but her voice was not heard in any other audio track for a long time. Written by Rabiul Islam Jibon and tuned by Mir Masum, the recording of the song has been done at capital’s Gayen Bari recording studio.
DJ Rahat said regarding the song, “I had a plan since long time to make a song for Kaniz Subarna. A couple of days ago, I had sent her a song; she appreciated it and gave her voice to the song. We have made the song, giving priority to the stage audience. I hope, everyone will like the song.  “The shooting of the music video centring the song ‘Sara Dao Na’ will be started within a few days. Then, we will release on different Television channels and online”, he added. On the other hand, DJ Rahat will release his mixed album titled ‘DJ Rahat with Stars’ at the end of this year. Kaniz Subarna’s ‘Sara Dao Na’ will also be included in his mixed album, he informed DhakaLive.
