Youth injured as ‘judge’s car’ rams bike in city

A young man was injured as his motorcycle was rammed by a vehicle, belonging to a High Court judge, running on the wrong side of the road at Ruposhi Bangla Hotel crossing in the capital yesterday evening, reports UNB.

 The injured, Jubin Faisal, was taken to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University.

Sub-inspector Mosharraf Hossain of Ramna Police Station said the Pajero jeep, which was running on the wrong side, crashed into Faisal’s motorbike around 7 pm, leaving him injured.

 Quoting the driver, he said the vehicle belongs to a High Court judge.

However, the judge was not inside the vehicle when the accident took place, the SI said, adding that they took both the driver and the vehicle to the police station.
